Support a growing local event that brings the people of Taupo together for a fun filled night of fashion and entertainment.
Taupo Fashion was born out of an idea to bring the community together and showcase local and national Designers, Models and Entertainers.
Director, Nicola Jarvis, joined by Tristy Vadnjal, Rachel King and Paula Ellis successfully brought a sell-out event to the Taupo Golf Club in 2016. Bringing in a mixed audience of men, woman and children.
After unimaginable success and popularity in 2016, the team at Taupo Fashion Show is proud to return in 2017. Due to its success, the Taupo Fashion Show is now an addition to the annual event calendar.
With the popularity of last year, this year’s event will be held at the Great Lake Centre, right in the heart of the Taupo CBD, on Saturday 28th October. This being a larger venue is allowing us to offer 500 spectator seats compared to the 230 seats that were able to fit into the Taupo Golf Club in 2016.
Also confirmed is a number of 28 local and national Designers, this being double from 2016. Lines are ranging from children all the way through to menswear, womanswear, active wear, bridal and plus size clothing. We also have nearly 100 models from all walks of life and are all getting excited to hit the catwalk.
The Taupo Fashion Show team have also been working hard fundraising for Lifeline NZ. With Trade Me Auctions going strong throughout the month of September, and donation boxes available at the event.
