To be successful or live a fulfilling life your impact can be so much more than benefits solely for you. New Zealand provides for a pretty good life and the New Zealand way has a strong history of helping the community. Taking this approach into Business is not new and a lot of organizations globally are implementing social responsibility or environmental policies. In New Zealand there is an opportunity to take our culture to a new level and build a Social Giving policy within the culture of doing business. What that policy looks like and how it could be affected is what this workshop is tasked with initiating discussion on.

Your business will support community organizations or individuals that are results driven; they have programmes in place that are results oriented. It is a win-win situation as two parties’ benefit; your business has a brand ambassador for the great things you do and the Social Giving recipient has the support from you!Social Giving recipients receive 100% of your business support. MediaPA is not involved in any process of funding for financial gain, therefore you are backing the recipient fully.

Waikato Women's Refuge crisis service operates 24/7 to provide safe housing, advice and community-based support. Their top priority is ensuring women and children are safe at a time when they feel most vulnerable. Everyone deserves a life free from domestic violence. As well as monetary donations, The Waikato Women's Refuge also accept donations of food, clothing, toys, hygiene, products, mobile phones to utilise in emergency situations and more.
